Mitigating Time Overrun Risk in Rapid Construction ¡ China/International 2020
Rapid construction is unique type of construction which demands large amounts of investments and it has short limitation of time of delivery. In order to deliver projects on time and on budget, the causes and effects of time overrun risk have to be considered in order to mitigate these risks during implementation. Exploring this issue and potential solutions was the subject of my master’s dissertation and 16-months of research, including: construction market analysis; deep literature review; interviews with architecture professionals around the world; analysis of data; and recommendations for mitigating time overrun risks.
Profitability & Risk Management Case Study: Emmar Office Building ¡ Dubai 2019
As a team leader in the evaluation of the Emmar Office Building construction project in Dubai, our team analyzed future profitability and risk management schedule. Rated and scored 16 risk coefficients in 5 dimensions based on the characteristics of the construction industry; Prepared risk analysis as well as mitigation plan; calculated NPV ($971,487.61), IRR (12%) and Break-even Analysis; and presented findings and recommendations for risk mitigation.
Profitability Analysis for XJTLU Art gallery ¡ China 2019
Worked as a team leader on investor profitability projections for the addition of an art gallery on campus for XJTLU. Contacted suppliers of art gallery to evaluate the implementation; Conducted research about sites, preference research of potential customers, analysis and evaluated the project critically; Produced business plan and risk management schedule; Created communication plan, stakeholder analysis, project schedule and milestone, budgeting plan, project acceptance criteria and benefits and ROI.
Case Study Analysis: Snap Chat Marketing Plan Failures and Alternatives 2019
Lead a team in analyzing a failed social media campaign by Snap Chat, and built a new marketing plan for investors to consider. Conducted research to understand the market segment, customer preference and perform marketing plan; analyzed failed campaign, and designed a new marketing plan and relevant KPI’s.
